Staff Make Students Count Awards nomination period has been extended

University employees and students  have another chance to nominate outstanding staff members for the 2022 Staff Make Students Count Award! The nomination period has been extended through June 10th, 2022. 

The awards will be presented at the September Board of Regents meeting.

Up to four individuals can be awarded; one each for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Fairbanks, the Â鶹´«Ã½ Anchorage, the Â鶹´«Ã½ Southeast, and University of Alaska System Office, provided there are nominations from each one, and the nominations meet the criteria and deadlines.

Please note that Â鶹´«Ã½S has completed their application process for this year, and this extended deadline applies only to Â鶹´«Ã½A, Â鶹´«Ã½F and Â鶹´«Ã½SO employees.

Consider nominating a co-worker who you know goes above and beyond when helping Â鶹´«Ã½ students.

Applications for the award must include:

  • Letter of nomination and rationale for nomination.
  • Completed nomination form.
  • At least three letters of endorsement from those knowledgeable of the contribution made by the applicant/nominee.
  • Letters from students are encouraged.

Completed application packets can be emailed or mailed to the Governance Office.
