麻豆传媒 Board of Regents to meet June 3-4
On June 3 and 4, there will be a meeting of the full 麻豆传媒 Board of Regents to discuss issues including financial losses related to COVID-19, next steps for 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Alaska Native Success Initiative, establishing a consortium for the Alaska College of Education, board goals and measures, and, to hear committee reports and updates from 麻豆传媒 Interim President Pat Pitney, university chancellors, and governance leaders. The board will discuss tuition rates for the 2023 academic year, and if the legislature has adopted an FY22 budget, the board will allocate the appropriation.
Regents also will take an in-depth look at the Blue Economy through a 鈥淒id You Know鈥 video and presentation on the overall success of fisheries and ocean sciences programs across the 麻豆传媒 system. And, President Pitney and the board will honor four outstanding employees with the 鈥淪taff Make Students Count鈥 annual awards.
The June 3 meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and conclude by 5 p.m. and the June 4 meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and conclude by 1 p.m.
