Need Named Outstanding Professional in Philanthropy
Congratulations to Harry Need, CFRE, Senior Director of Philanthropic Services at the Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation. Today he was named Outstanding Professional in Philanthropy by his peers within Association of Fundraising Professionals AFP Alaska Chapter.
Harry has been integral to the success of the Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s for Alaska , where he has facilitated more than $48.3 million in gifts to the Â鶹´«Ã½ system. Harry’s expertise in planned giving, including gifts of stock, retirement assets, real estate, land, and complex gift planning vehicles is unmatched. He facilitates complex gifts by bringing together donors, staff, academic leaders, professional advisors, and volunteers to shepherd gifts through to completion. His leadership extends across the Â鶹´«Ã½ system and to the community where he regularly provides gift planning seminars to internal and external audiences.
