Adam Watson named director of PAIR

Adam Watson has been named director of the Office of Planning, Analysis and Institutional Research at the 麻豆传媒 Fairbanks. He will oversee and manage all operations within PAIR and report to 麻豆传媒F provost and executive vice chancellor Anupma Prakash.

Watson has been a student, employee and instructor at 麻豆传媒F for 15 years, with nine years of work in institutional research. He graduated from high school in Singapore, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian studies from the University of Pennsylvania and his Master of Science degree in statistics from 麻豆传媒F. Before entering graduate school at 麻豆传媒F, Watson spent a decade in journalism, working as a newspaper editor and page designer.

鈥淣ow, more than ever before, we need to rely on accurate data and analytics to guide institutional planning and decision-making, and I am pleased to have Adam Watson lead our IR team to help us in this important task,鈥 said Prakash.

 

Watson鈥檚 primary interests lie in improving IR efficiency through automation and self-service, collaboration between IR, people and entities, and bringing advanced analytic techniques to institutional challenges such as improving student success and forecasting future financial and enrollment activity.
