Â鶹´«Ã½ Anchorage Chancellor Parnell Announces Retirement at End of Spring Semester 2025

His retirement concludes four years of service to Â鶹´«Ã½A and the Â鶹´«Ã½. During his tenure, he emphasized Â鶹´«Ã½A's role as a key educator of Alaska's workforce while maintaining affordability and accessibility for students. In retirement, he plans to spend more time with family and friends, research, write, and continue coaching and teaching emerging leaders.

Â鶹´«Ã½S Professor X̱'unei Lance Twitchell Nominated for Emmy Award

Dr. Twitchell is a writer and advisor for the animated PBS Kids program Molly of Denali, nominated by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for the third annual Children's & Family Emmy® Awards. The awards ceremonies are scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on March 15, 2025.
