Â鶹´«Ã½ Interim President Pat Pitney to deliver 2021 State of the University address Feb. 24

You’re invited to virtually attend the 2021 State of the University address on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The address will be delivered by Â鶹´«Ã½ Interim President Pat Pitney beginning at 12 p.m.

President Pitney will provide an update on the important role the Â鶹´«Ã½ system has in the state’s economic recovery and in building Alaska’s workforce; the contributions of Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s world-class research; and, the contributions Â鶹´«Ã½ made during COVID-19. She also will provide a look ahead to growing enrollment, fulfilling Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s land grant promise, and launching the first-ever philanthropic campaign.
