Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for the in-person event at Centennial Hall as a part of the Alaska Chamber’s Legislative Fly-In. The luncheon begins at 12 p.m. and the 25-minute address will commence after opening comments, introductions and other Chamber business. The event will also be streamed live at .
President Pitney will share updates on 鶹ý’s key role as an economic driver and in strengthening communities and advancing innovation. The 鶹ý is vital to Alaska's future, helping retain Alaska’s best and brightest, grow the state’s population as a beacon of opportunity for those outside, and empower our state’s workforce and economy.
This will be Pitney’s fifth State of the University address since being appointed interim president in 2020 and her fourth as the university system’s 17th president.
