    Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation Announces New Directors

    During its December 15 meeting, the Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation board of directors elected five new board members and extended the terms of three others. The board received an update on the University system's first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign, and heard of major impacts from recent philanthropic gifts made to Â鶹´«Ã½ Anchorage, Â鶹´«Ã½ Fairbanks, and Â鶹´«Ã½ Southeast.

    Â鶹´«Ã½S Chancellor search committee co-chairs, Jennifer Ward and John Pugh, announced in an email to the Â鶹´«Ã½S community that 40 applications were received for the position, and 25 passed the preliminary screening.
